Possibly more convincing is that only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.farmworkerjustice.org\/sites\/default\/files\/NAWS%20data%20factsht%201-13-15FINAL.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>60% of farmworkers work<\/strong><\/a> for more than 180 days a year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Of course, there are many other examples of the need for hiring seasonal employees.<\/strong> Think of ski resorts that only need ski instructors in snowy seasons. Or municipalities who need lifeguards only during summer months.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seasonal hiring, also known as holiday hiring,<\/strong> is indeed the way to go if your business experiences predictable highs and lows in the demand for products or services. It\u2019ll save you months worth of salaries and wages when sales don\u2019t cover the costs.<\/p>\n<p>But just because seasonal employees are, well, \u201cseasonal\u201d, doesn\u2019t make a temporary workforce a shortcut to busy-season success.
