The 2011 list has now been viewed over 880,000 times (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/janehart\/top-100-tools-for-learning-2011\" target=\"_blank\">on Slideshare<\/a>), and\u00a0\u00a0the 2012 list over 550,000 times (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/janehart\/toptools2012\" target=\"_blank\">on Slideshare<\/a>). The list was also cited in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slideshare.net\/kleinerperkins\/kpcb-internet-trends-2013\/108\" target=\"_blank\">KPCB\u2019s 2013 Internet Trends<\/a> presentation (viewed over 2.3 million times)\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Voting for the Top 100 Tools for Learning 2013 \u2013 \u00a0 the 7th Annual Survey \u2013 is currently underway. The list\u00a0will be compiled from the votes of learning professionals worldwide.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Voting closes at midnight GMT on Friday 27 September 2013<\/strong>, <strong>and the Top 100 Tools list will be revealed on Monday 30 September 2013.<!--more--><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>What is a learning tool?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><\/strong>A learning tool is a software tool or online tool or service<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>either for your own personal or professional learning<\/li>\n<li>and\/or one for teaching, training or e-learning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Voting guidance<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will need to name <strong>ten different tools<\/strong> for your entry to count.<\/li>\n<li>Please name ten<strong> specific<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>tools\u00a0<\/strong>rather than generic technologies (e.g. \u201cBlogger\u201d or \u201cWordPress\u201d, rather than \u201cblogs\u201d or \u201cblogging\u201d).<\/li>\n<li>A vote for <strong>Google<\/strong> will be a vote for Google Search, so if you want to vote for other Google tools, you will need to name them individually, e.g. Google Docs\/Drive, Google Scholar, Google Maps, etc.\u00a0A vote for Google Apps will be for the badged collection of Google Apps for Business or Education, \u00a0not a generic term for all Google applications.<\/li>\n<li>A vote for <strong>Microsoft Office<\/strong> will be split over Word and PowerPoint, so please vote individually for these tools, i.e. Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook etc.<\/li>\n<li>Only one contribution can be accepted from a vendor company.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, contributions are accepted only at the discretion of the Centre for Learning &amp; Performance Technologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"stcpDiv\">\n<p><strong>How to vote<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>EITHER<\/strong> use the form\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/c4lpt.co.uk\/top100tools\/voting\/\" target=\"_blank\">on this page<\/a>\u00a0to vote for your\u00a0top 10 tools for learning. \u00a0For each tool that you name you can optionally add any information about how you use\u00a0it or why you like it.\u00a0If you are happy for us to quote your choices (and reasons) publicly at any time, please check the box at the bottom of the form, otherwise your selection\/reasons will remain anonymous.<\/p>\n<p><strong>OR<\/strong> tweet your 10 choices to @C4LPT from a valid Twitter account that provides your credentials as a learning professional.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We are very proud that in previous years eFront users have voted for our tool.
